Watchman Ministries Portland

Watchman Ministries Portland (WMP) was founded in 2014 to promote the preservation of human dignity. Driven by passion to provide care to the poor, underserved, and the underprivileged who are destitute of daily needs and living at the brinks of the society, WMP metamorphosed into a Not-for-profit organization. Watchman Ministries Portland is registered under 501(c) of United States as a Not-for-profit Organization to provide humanitarian services to the poor, and underprivileged living in the United States. The organization is passionately concerned about the preservation of human dignity and poised at touching human lives in ways that are unprecedented, providing for the soul, body, and spirit. Watchman Ministries Portland provides aids and assistance to the poor and underprivileged in meeting their basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, sanitation, education, and healthcare. Essentially, WMP initiates programs and projects that sustainably improves the livelihoods of the poor and underprivileged through commitment and dedication of our team. We work with partners and volunteers in achieving our overall mandate.

Corporative Objectives

  1. To initiate and promote equitable distribution of resources to the underprivileged persons, groups, and communities in the United States.
  2. To provide and increase the supply of daily necessities to persons at risk, underprivileged groups, and Communities.
  3. To cater for the needs of the Body, Soul, and Spirit of the society through programme designs and interventions.
  4. Promote and encourage shelter for the homerless and the needy.
  5. To promote sustainable livelihoods through skills enhancement, micro and small business initiatives for wealth creation.
  6. To improve access to opportunities and services to reduce the financial vulnerability of the poor, underserved and underprivileged.
  7. To empower the vulnerable and the less privileged in society through vocational training and self-reliant programmes.

OUR APPROACH

  • Stakeholders’ Mobilizations and Partnerships : We reach out to various stakeholders for collaborations and seek partnerships from Donor Agencies, Development Institutions, Government establishments, and the corporate sectors in providing care to underserved and underprivileged persons, groups and communities in the United States.
  • Missions and humanitarian programmes : preservation of the Human Dignity core of our vision. We design, initiate, and implement programmes and projects aimed at providing for the soul, body, and spirit.
