Our Team
Watchman Ministries Portland is managed through a Board of Trustees, Programs Management Team, and various functional heads. The Board of Trustees will provide direction and oversight functions for effective planning and efficient programs implementation.
The programs Management Team is responsible for day-to-day running of the Organization and outlining programs. The Team consists of the Programs Director and other departmental heads that are passionate about bringing comfort, inspiring hope, providing support, and causing positive change through the provision of humanitarian service and caring for the underprivileged in the Society.
The organization also works with passionate Volunteers who have the drive for positive change and impact.
Jude Bliss is passionate about adding value to humanity. The sight of human suffering touches his very core and inspires him to provide succour and uplifting humankind. His passion is in providing support to the underprivileged persons, groups and communities who are destitute of daily living.
As a healthcare professional for the past 16 years, his direct contact with people with various needs both mental, physical, and spiritual led him to the vision of establishing Watchman Ministries Portland, a nonprofit Organization poised at touching human lives in ways that are unprecedented, providing for the body, soul, and spirit. Jude Bliss is also a professional Mental Health Advocate.
As a practicing pastor, he speaks from his heart, reaching deep to the very soul and spirit of his audience. He also provides aids and assistance to the needy in their basic needs of food, clothing, education, and healthcare balancing his message. He understands that human being is a composite of three inseparable elements and poised at reaching the depth of their core. His aim is to care, uplift and support the poor, seemingly abandoned and underprivileged to become agents of social change and active earners of income.
